Hajime has walked all 88 temples of the Shikoku pilgrimage and completed a genuine nokyocho (a pilgrim's temple book). He runs Ohenro Gift Service entirely on his own, from planning to walking each route in person, carrying the wishes of those who long to make the journey but cannot.

Ohenro Gift Service, our proxy Shikoku pilgrimage and online Ohenro experience, has officially launched the Ohenro Gift Service YouTube Channel.

Through radio-style audio and video content, our YouTube channel will give you a closer look at what Ohenro Gift Service is all about, the atmosphere of a real walking pilgrimage, and the beauty of the Shikoku 88 Temple route.

“What does a proxy pilgrimage service actually include?”
“What does an online Ohenro experience or real-time streaming feel like?”
“I would love to give the gift of the pilgrimage to a parent or someone special, but I still feel a little unsure…”

If you have ever felt this way, we hope the channel will help you experience the feeling and atmosphere of the service in a way that a service page alone cannot fully convey.

Going forward, we also plan to share content such as:

  • Radio-style talks and reflections from the walking pilgrimage route
  • Practical guidance and essential knowledge about the Shikoku pilgrimage
  • Unique ways to enjoy the online pilgrimage experience offered by Ohenro Gift Service

If you are interested in Ohenro Gift Service, or if you are considering the Shikoku pilgrimage as a meaningful gift for a parent or loved one, we hope you will take a look at our YouTube channel as well.

Be sure to subscribe so you can easily stay updated whenever we release a new video.
